The Wrestling Collector Store

Saturday September 26th I was in Parsippany, New Jersey for the 2026 Atlantic APCO Conference, which runs from the 27th to 30th, however my team and I drove won to the conference from Maine, and with the approaching Nor'easter we headed down on Friday to avoid the storm.

That left me with all day Saturday to do some exploring, and that I did.  My team member Jessica and I first went to New Jersey Horror Con because Betsy Baker and Theresa Tilly, two of the 3 ladies of the Evil Dead movie were supposed to be there, however after paying admission, found out one was sick so they both cancelled.  As we already paid we spent some time taking in the vendors and I picked up a couple small things.  There were a lot of celebrities there, but no one I wanted the meet that I hadn't met before.

We then headed north to Stockholm, New Jersey and The Wrestling Collector!  I had first learned about it on Facebook, and a couple months back Matt Cardona and Brian Meyers of the Major Figures Podcast filmed a vlog at the store for their YouTube page.

It's not a huge store but it is jammed with wrestling collectibles and memorabilia.  The owner of the store, Tommy Ferrero, is also the promoter for the ISPW: Independent Superstars of Pro Wrestling promotion, which has been running shows in 1998.  He was not there as his mother was running the shop.

There is stuff stacked all over the place, when you walk in on the right side he has a small museum display of ring worm memorabilia.  This is also where everything that is signed if located.  Figures, posters, 8 x 10's and anything else with a signature.

To the left of the entrance is a side room with magazine, programs, VHS, DVD's, wrestling figures, books and more.  I would say 75% of what was in the shop was WWF / WWE, which makes sense as we are right in the heart of the WWF's territory. 

I was in there for almost an hour and a half looking through everything.  I did picked out a few things that I bought, I tried to be reasonable because there was so much stuff I would have liked to pick up, but it would be just buying stuff to buy stuff.  

I felt some of the prices were reasonable and others not so much, but that's just my opinion.  All VHS were $15, all DVD's were $10, Magazines and Programs were $10 or as marked, all books were $20, and loose figures were anything from $5 to $20 depending on the figure.  In package were as marked, and then there was a bunch of stuff not marked and she had to call him to ask what he wanted.

This right here I was extremely tempted to buy, it was The Wrestling Album, and when I was 6 years old my Dad got me this exact thing for Christmas.  It was unique because the packaging was record album size but for a cassette tape.  They were asking $60, and I almost pulled the trigger on it.

What I think is unique about the program was the paper insert inside.  WWF used to print a generic program to use at multiple venues and shows, and they would include a paper insert with the date, location, and card for the night.  This particular insert was for Madison Square Garden the night Bob Backlund lost the WWF Championship to Diesel.

I had this video game for the original Nintendo, this copy was original sealed.  I have no idea what they were asking for it.

There was so many programs and posters for Madison Square Garden and the New York and New Jersey area.  I looked as all the MSG programs and I decided if they had one with someone on the cover that I could get signed I would pick it up, sadly everyone featured had passed away.

After much deliberation this is what I decided to pick up:

My favorite wrestling to go back and watch is Jim Crockett Promotions 1983 - 1988, to me it's just the best!  This VHS is the 1988 Great American Bash PPV from July 10, 1988 in Baltimore.  This would be the last PPV under the Jim Crockett Promotions banner and the next PPV Starrcade was after the sale to Ted Turner.  I also have the program to this event signed by Ric Flair and Lex Luger.

First is a WWF program from featuring Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda that I feel confident that I can get signed.  The second is a special look at "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas, as he lives in Maine and I see him several times a year I know I will get this signed.  The Tony Atlas program had the paper insert for September 21, 1981 at Madison Square Garden.

Along with the Tony Atlas program was this Poster, which is in rough shape, but is pretty cool.  I'll get Tony to sign this as well.  The last photo is for size reference on the poster.

I had a pretty awesome time at The Wrestling Collector store.  I coupe things I do which I had picked up, and I just might have time to scoot back up before I head home on Wednesday.

Limitless Wrestling 11th Anniversary Weekend

It's been a week since Limitless Wrestling celebrated it's 11th Anniversary double shot weekend with shows in Yarmouth and Portland.  This is the first time, outside of a convention or a festival, that Limitless has run two shows in consecutive days, however, those shows were at the same location.

This weekend also featured the first inductions into the Limitless Wrestling Hall of Fame class of 2026.

Saturday September 5th Limitless returned to the AMVets Hall in Yarmouth for the first time since February 2026.  There were several debuts and returns on the show: Amira made her Limitless debut, Bruss Hamilton technically debuted in June at  WrestleFest, but the show was held at the Maine Correctional Center, so this weekend was his debut at fan attended Limitless show.  Billie Starkz finally made her debut in Maine and at Limitless Wrestling after two previous attempts, the first time she tore her MCL, the second time she was pulled by AEW.  Marcus Mathers last wrestled in Yarmouth in November 2025 for GCW's Massacre in Maine, but this is his first time in a Limitless ring.

Mike Montero, who appeared in the first ever Limitless wrestling match, made his return to the promotion after a near 10 year absence last wrestling in October 2016 at Who Watches the Watchmen.  Mike Grace made his return having last appeared at Limitless in July 2017 at Nothing Gold Can Stay.

I was happy see Amira wrestle in person, I've seen her on Wrestling Open and C4 shows.  Her and Maggie Lee has a fantastic match.  Maggie Lee is awesome, I'll repeat it forever, she's got all the tools.  Channing and Marcus had a tremendous match that was extremely fast paced, I was so surprised they kept the pace going the entire match.

I was not surprised when Ace Romero came out at Gabby's tag team partner, I was surprised when B3 attacked Ace busting him open making him unfit to compete.  When Maggie Lee ran out to help Gabby, I leaned over to my son Canaan and said "It's a trap" and it was.  Can't wait to see Gabby and Maggie Lee square off again! 

The six person tag was magnificent and many feel the match of the weekend!  Billie Alec, & Jordan meshed so well together, Becca and the Shooter Boys are terrific together and the six of them went out there and just tore it up for the fans that night! 

The two hall of fame induction ceremonies were emotional.  Joey Gleitz was one of the first referees in Limitless as well as working for other Maine based promotion, passed away in 2020.  That night his friend and wrestler "Cousin" Larry Huntley inducted Joey with his son Jason Maverick accepting the award for his father.  J-Heru inducted MSP with Aggro, Daphne, and Lee all gave emotional speeches.

Near the end of the show word had gotten around that The Butcher, Andy Williams was rushed to the hospital from an Enjoy Wrestling show in Pennsylvania.  Our group chat the rest of the evening and into Sunday morning was full of speculation based on the news we had seen.  Sadly Andy passed away he was only 48.

Sunday September 6th Limitless was back at Live at Madrid's for show 2 of the double shot weekend.  Limitless was last at Madrid's this past June and will return in October for Fresh Blood.  This was the Limitless debut of the Breadwinners; Cash McGuiness and Patrick Wheatman, and Joseph Sawyer formerly known as Joe Gacy.  Ring of Honor Pure Champion Lee Moriarty made his Limitless return after a near 5 year absence and it was the return of referee Tony P who hasn't appeared since January 2020.

It was a very classy move of Limitless to open the show with all wrestlers at ringside and the 10 bell salute for The Butcher.  He and the blade had wrestled for Limitless this past March at the Bissell Brothers Bash.

Seabass and Rudy opened the show with a great match!  I'm a fan of Seabass and Rudy has never failed to impress me with his abilities in the ring.  He has a match with Jonathan Gresham September 13th that I just can't wait to watch.

I had very high expectations for A-Game vs. Tiga Style and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!  I've been watching Joseph Alexander since he debuted for Let's Wrestle at the indoor flea market in Brewer.  His has done nothing but get better over the years!  He moved south last year so is not up this way that often, so it's a treat to see him when we can.

Bruss Hamilton is a very cool guy, I had never met him until Saturday night, but we had a great conversation about his finisher and the fact he was living the van life on this tour of the northeast.  I really hope we see more of him in Limitless, but I wouldn't be surprised if we saw him on national television sooner than later.

It was great seeing Ace and AG teaming again, AG even came out to "Heaven is A Place On Earth" and after the match they left to "Take Me Home Tonight."  AG gave a tremendous induction speech earlier in the night for Ace.  I would be surprised if AG wasn't inducted next year.

Let's talk about the Shooter Boys, B3, Anthony and Aaron.  These kids, are so good in the ring at everything that they do.  Every match they are in, win or lose, they come out it making themselves and their opponents look better than when they went in.  It doesn't matter the style or type of match, if they are in it  I look forward to it because I know it's going to be good.

Channing Thomas had a tremendous weekend at Limitless, going 1-1 defeating Marcus on Saturday and losing to the debuting Joseph Sawyer on Sunday.  Both matches were different styles, different paces, and Channing lived up to his "World Class" moniker.

The main event of night 2 saw the long awaited match between Limitless World Champion: Gabby Forza and the "Dime Piece" Aaron Rourke.  When Aaron made his entrance not to his most recent music, but his classic "Castle" by Virsces you could feel the emotion in the building. 

I teared up, it felt like it was the last time we were going to see Aaron in Limitless, he was even emotional on his entrance.  The fans, who were mercifully booing him just 24 hours earlier were now cheering, we could all feel this was special, even if we didn't know why.  They had a terrific match with Gabby showing what she could do in her first title defense to kick off her title reign.

Like I said an amazing weekend of wrestling!

Limitless is back at Live At Madrid's on Sunday October 18th for Fresh Blood, tickets are on sale now.  Already announced, Joseph Sawyer, Donovan Dijak, Maggie Lee, Cowboy Way, and making his Limitless debut JTG of Crime Time, with Sawyer challenging Dijak to a match at the show.
